I aim to give students a foundation so that they may bring their skills to any platform they choose such as an orchestra, a school concert or an at home concert for mom and dad.
Teaching Philosophy
I aim to give students a foundation so that they may bring their skills to any platform they choose such as an orchestra, a school concert or an at home concert for mom and dad. There are also students who learn for enjoyment and dont necessarily want to perform that's ok too. We are here to open doors for students into the music world which can be exciting and scary at the same time. I Try to make the lessons as fun and interesting as possible. Learning should be enjoyable but also requires hard work.
Education
I completed a BMUS at Wilfrid Laurier. Attended several summer chamber music camps such as Quartet Fest in Waterloo, Domain Forget in Quebec and Tafflemusic summer institute. I started out as a Suzuki student in my hometown in Newmarket and as a Teen transferred to Conservatory grading system w my teacher Kathy Rappaport. I've had several well educated and successful teachers over the years who gave me the encouragement to get to this level.
Teaching & Skills
I am open to teaching special needs students but this should be in agreement with a parent or guardian. So that their goals and special requirements are met in the lessons.
